Advocates for the University of California are extremely upset and want to see lawmakers make education a bigger priority when it comes to the budget of the state. This unrest has led to a rally by the UC student association. A big part of the demonstration will focus on the fee hikes that continue, yet classes are being cut making it tougher to graduate on time. Over 300,000 people are on the UCforCA.org list which organizes the movement for legislators to fight for more money for education. (more…)
